Avoiding destructionI’m not going to bother convincing you we’re headed for destruction if our course does not change, this you already know. We have reviewed the religious history of the West over the last 2000 years in the last two weeks, which I hope you’d agree is clearly associated with our decline. The secularization of the West and the decline of the West have happened at the same time and the same rate. So what are we to do? The Constantine OptionI’ve recently changed the name of this newsletter, and of my efforts more generally, to The Constantine Option. This name describes in 3 words our whole purpose: To Christianize all social institutions from the state downwards. This has been the model of all Christian nations, and indeed all nations that have had a clear direction at all. It will be said that we would force people to be Christian. This is not true. It will be said that we would persecute non-Christians. This is not true. It will be said that we would go back to the “dark ages.” This is not true. We will simply define clearly the guiding light of our civilization: Christ. Our enemies see no purpose for religion to influence social institutions, but this is only because their own religion cleverly avoids labeling itself as one. Secularism as a religionIsn’t it obvious that our enemies are deeply religious? They don’t stand to personally profit from their philosophy, historically they will be crushed by it. They burn with fervor for their beliefs, far beyond what is ordinary for a political movement. Even people involved enough to care about tax law, or school curriculum, do not have such a passion for it as these. Why? This perplexes the right, because we believe we’re looking at a political movement. It is not. These people are evangelists for their own wicked religion, and understanding them this way makes perfect sense of all their otherwise strange behavior. Call, or fold? You will be governed by a religion, as every nation indisputably was from the beginning of history until 300 years ago, and every nation since then as well (correctly understood). You have a very simple choice to make, then, Christian: Which religion will you have govern you? The choice is clear. I realize we have a long way to go, frankly I don’t imagine any of us will ever see a Christian nation the likes of which our grandparents were born into. We can give one to our grandchildren, though, and if that doesn’t motivate you then unsubscribe and sit on the sidelines. My brothers and I have work to do. Space tomorrow, podcast Wednesday morning! If you’re on X, click here to be reminded about the space tomorrow @ 7:00 PM Central on this subject. I’ll record the episode of the podcast (“The Constantine Option” wherever you listen to podcasts) live, and I’ll save time afterwards for discussion. Anyone’s welcome on stage to give their thoughts. As always, if you’ve any thoughts or questions, you can reply to this email. I’ll answer them on the podcast episode tomorrow. God bless you, The Constantine Option |

A Zoomer (2024, colorized) The sins of the father... Zoomers (members of Gen Z, for the unaware) are going through a painful process. One by one, they're realizing that while their fathers and grandfathers were great men on many levels, they failed to preserve the West they inherited. Some may be tempted to point out edge cases, but there's no denying the trend of the last century. Our fathers inherited a truly great civilization that honored Christ, punished evil, cultivated virtue... but...
Nick Fuentes This article is not about Nick Fuentes, exactly. I'm not interested in discussing him at length in the first place, and moreover it would be lazy on my part. I'm interested in what his downfall means. What his downfall means Fuentes has embarrassed himself multiple times by now: The nonsense of the Kanye West campaign, refusing to vote for Trump (because he's too soft on Israel), claiming victory when Trump won, and now finally with these credible allegations of homosexuality. He...
Patriarch Kiril and Pope Francis What is Ecumenism? Ecumenism, movement or tendency toward worldwide Christian unity or cooperation. The term, of recent origin, emphasizes what is viewed as the universality of the Christian faith and unity among churches. Britannica Some of us recoil at the concept of ecumenism, denouncing the teachings of other Christian traditions. These are durable disagreements. I do not suggest that Catholics get lax on the teachings of Rome about Protestantism, or that...
